Street Artist Paints A Home For The Homeless
Homelessness is a condition which is least addressed or thought about. In an attempt to foreground the curse of homelessness, Skid Robot, an anonymous artist in Los Angeles has used the gift of his art to create awareness about the neglect that people on streets are subject to. Skid has started a campaign - National Art Campaign of Compassion wherein he urges people to be more empathetic and come together to find a solution to extreme poverty.

In the below compilation of images extracted from Skid Robot's Instagram page (captions included); the artist paints the stories of the homeless people he meets, in a way, that will awaken the spirit of compassion in you.
"Ben was released from the hospital with no shoes. He was unable to walk as a result of being shot in the back and eventually the hospital booted him on the street like so many others. I offered him a meal but he declined, instead he asked for paper, pencils, pens so that he can write and draw. He said he really liked the art and use to draw himself I had a sketchbook that was fairly new and a few pens and markers I was able to give him on the spot along with a lil money so he can eat later".
"Met Tony during the day time along with some other residents from the block. Told em we'd be back with water, beer, food, smokes and a lil money too help em out. They desperately needed water more than anything they said so we delivered 10 gallons".
"His name is J.W. A talented artist originally from Florida. He asked for art supplies and some gear".
